 ROMANIA: Foreign Adoptions Severely Curbed

This is so sad.

I have just sent my two beautiful boys off to school and they see I am very sad this morning, when I expalined why they too are very sad. Yoiu see they were both adopted from Romania . They asked me why would people pass a law like that , and for that anwer Iwill need to ask the Romanian officials.

My boys are both very aware of thier native country Romania.
Last summer when my 8 year old was at hockey camp, the group was asked to give thier names and tell where they were from.

My Matthew , when it was his turn said do you want to know where I was born or where I live now, the coach answered said "your choice" his response Bucharest, Romania.

The children that were adoped to the U.S. all became little ambassadors for Romania, but with this new law aanother loss for the children and for Romania as well.

I pray for a miracle
Elaine
