If private oil retailers radicalize their protest blockades of state oil company Naftna Industrija Srbije (NIS) installations and warehouses, there will be a complete halt of fuel delivery, which will threaten the functioning of refineries and place Serbia in a general collapse, NIS said Monday.
The state oil company said that the blockade of Pancevo and Novi Sad refineries, which has entered the sixth day, has seriously jeopardized the market supply of oil derivatives, as the transport of fuel to gas stations is seriously obstructed.
