German daily Die Welt writes on Friday that islamist Samedin Xhezairi, who is mentioned by Germany's media as the organizer of the bloody March attacks against Kosovo Serbs, is confirmed by Germany's BND intelligence service to have been their informer for a short period of time.
The daily writes that a BND major, operating in Pristina, recruited Xhezairi last year. Writing that there are no clearly linked papers that document the telephone conversation between Albanian extremist Xhezairi and his followers about the March riots, the daily recalls the conversation of March 2, when Xhezairi asked former commander of the OVK 114th brigade Nazim Bushi whether he or someone else could take care of the 'explosive mood' in Urosevac, and mentioned the preparations for the 'party' in Prizren.
