SERBIA AND MONTENEGRO: Sahovic Protests Steiner's Last-Minute Signings
Ambassador Dejan Sahovic, head of the Serbia-Montenegro Mission to the UN in New York, has protested to the UN Secretariat over yesterday's signing of a free trade agreement between the Serbian province of Kosovo and Albania.

According to a statement released by the state union mission, Sahovic also protested Steiner's last-day signing of both the Criminal Code and the Criminal Procedures Act, which will not be implemented for another year.

The statement insists: "Such activities do not contribute to the creation of a constructive atmosphere of trust prior to the expected dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina", reported radio B92.
